Common and Preferred Stock
There are
two types of stock namely – Common Stock and Preferred Stock.
Common Stock
also called equities Stock. It is united with trading volumes market value are
many magnitudes larger than that of preferred shares.
The main difference in two is that investing in common shares bring voting rights. These
voting rights allow a common shareholder to have a say in company meetings. In
preferred Shares, as its name defines they have preference over the common
shares in a company to receive dividends as well as assets in the event of a
liquidation
Stock Market Supply and Demand
The Stock Market offers the laws of supply and demand at the work in real-time. There
must be a buyer and seller for every stock transaction. If there are more
buyers for a particular stock that there is the seller of it, the Stock price
will trends up, because of absolute laws of supply and demand.
The main
difference between the bid price for a particular stock and its ask or offer
price stands for the difference between the highest price that the buyer is
willing to pay or bid for stock and lowest price at which a seller is offering
the stock.
